Now Corning will launch its newest product, Corning Gorilla
Glass 4. Corning claims, Gorilla Glass 4 is thinner (0.4 mm) than the previous
generation, Gorilla Glass 3 (0.7 mm). But, it has twice the resistance is
stronger than the "Gorilla Glass 3". Corning has been tested, by
performing the drop test from a height of a few feet phones using Gorilla Glass
4, while the other uses the display layer of competitors. As a result, the
mobile phone with Gorilla Glass 4 conditions are much better than other screen
layer. And protection of Gorilla Glass display 4 has survival rate of up to 80
percent when dropped from a height of one meter.
