New Tool on Twitter to Report sexual harassment of women  Twitter has launched a tool that allows women to report their abuse on Twitter and will be able to solve their problems within 24 hours. Reporting from NDTV tool and developed with the help of a non-profit organization known as Women, Action and Media (WAM). That will help Twitter to improve its policy on harassment and crime through online media by monitoring the incoming reports and carry data - data they collect to Twitter. Twitter users can report their abuse in detail through a form "WAM Twitter Harassment Reporting Tool". There is a choice of categories of abuse to be reported by the users, including impersonation, harsh threats, publication of false information, photography pornographic, racist spiel sexual harassment by phone and other offline methods. WAM Executive Director, Jaclyn Friedman said the team was delighted to work with Twitter in order to become a more secure platform for women. Based on a survey by the Pew Research Internet Project, approximately 25 percent of women aged 18 to 24 years had experienced sexual abuse online, and 26 percent had watched online, Twitter, the largest micro-blogging site in the world, will develop a tool that can be used against abuse of women and help women who are abused online immediately and may help the authorities to prosecute the perpetrators of abuse.Twitter has launched a tool that allows women to reporttheir abuse on Twitter and will be able to solve their problems within 24 hours.
