Samsung has released its latest smartphone, the Samsung Galaxy Alpha. This smartphone is a premium smartphone series and is the latest flagship of this south Korean smartphone vendor. With body thickness is only about 6.7 mm, Galaxy Alpha is expected to be the thinnest smartphone from Samsung at this time.

Besides having a special design, the Samsung Galaxy Alpha is also supported with premium features such as 4G LTE network, 4.7-inch Super AMOLED screen with a scratch-resistant coating Corning Gorilla Glass 4 and also is able to respond to a touch screen even though the user is wearing gloves. Then there is a 12 MP primary camera and also features a fingerprint scanner. However, the Samsung Galaxy Alpha does not have a FM radio feature and also there is no memory card slot and a small battery capacity. Samsung Galaxy Alpha priced around 700 US Dollars.

Design

Samsung Galaxy Alpha has the dimension of 132.4 x 65.5 x 6.7 mm and 115 grams of weight. Galaxy Alpha has a conventional design with a revolutionary body, has a flat shape with the body side square impressed  with the accent angle has slightly rounded so comfortable when held. This smartphone has a metal frame and back cover is made of chromed plastic material makes this smartphone looks elegant and premium and with a thickness of only 6.7 mm and make the smartphone as the thinnest smartphone made by Samsung.

At the front there is a 4.7-inch Super AMOLED screen with a scratch-resistant coating Corning Gorilla Glass 4, then right at the top of the screen there is a secondary camera and proximity sensor and ambient light. At the bottom of the screen there are 3 buttons (multi-tasking, home and back). 3.5 mm audio port on the top of the smartphone. While the power button located on the right side. And on the left side there is a volume control buttons. At the bottom there is a microUSB port. And on the back there is the cover along with the main camera.
